Kena is visually impressive, with vistas that are quite something to behold. A nice mountainside view for some meditation with my Rots. However, Ember Lab shoehorned in an interracial lesbian relationship involving two story NPCs. Key moments are told through expertly animated cutscenes, and the voice acting is appealing. The story, while not entirely groundbreaking, is enjoyable and good for the most part. As such, you’ll need to find out why this has happened and how you can stop it. On your journey, you discover that corruption has taken over the valley. You travel to an abandoned village in search of the sacred Mountain Shrine. You play as Kena: a spirit guide tasked with helping stuck spirits move on. However, after playing Kena, I’m happy to report that it’s been a great experience, even with some minor technical issues. ![]() We didn’t get many gameplay trailers, and there was a review embargo until launch day.
